Even with Nako sitting on the stool, Jacob was taller than he was. But the way he bent over to position him just right he was more to his size. He would study him, and move him, and study him, until he got it to match up the way he had been before. The great look of concentration on the young man’s face, made him seem even more handsome than he was naturally. Although, Jacob never thought of himself as a stud. “Well—I had to draw a basic outline of what you looked like without clothes first. It’s easier to draw clothes after the fact—“ He was rambling incoherent thoughts. His dark blue eyes were focused intensely, and yet they seemed so soft.
At first when the other leaned forward and his lips touched Jacob’s, he didn’t noticed, he was so attentive with what he was doing. But then it hit him. He had only been kissed once before, but this, this was not the same kind of kiss. He puckered up right before Nako pulled away. Dumbfounded, he blinked, and stayed frozen for a few moments. He listened to the other stammer, “You had better not apologize and then run off two days later and marry some random girl on the street!”

He hadn’t really listened when Jacob had been speaking to him, while setting up his pose for him. He had just been watching that mouth move up and down, left to right and back. He did think that his friend’s voice was pretty cool, calm and collected. It was actually when Nako had accidentally kissed his friend that he realized the other had been talking. He was still surprised at what he had just done, and in fact he actually felt ashamed. He was too taken aback that he kept on stammering.
“I… Um… I, I, I, mean, I…” He couldn’t find the words just yet. Finally, “I… I didn’t… I mean… I… You are probably… not really… I mean… Not into boys… I mean, I guess I am not into boys, either… I…” He would try to apologize but it seemed like Jacob didn’t want to hear it. “I… I… won’t marry… anyone… I think…” His face was so red by now that he could feel the heat actually rising up in the attic. “I…” He couldn’t say he was sorry, for he could upset Jacob just by saying that.

“Well—“ He wasn’t sure to take it as a compliment when the other said he wasn’t into boys, and yet he kissed him anyway. But then again, if some one was to ask him, he would probably lie about it too. So he was a little hung up over the last person—but when someone that is attractive wants to kiss you, you do it don’t you? It was in Jacob’s nature to be a bit of a player, but deep down he was a sweet, timid, romantic. He thought about it, tried to listen to Nako’s inaudible—unfinished sentences, but he became slightly frustrated. “Are you attracted to me or not? Because if you are, which you must be or you wouldn’t have kissed me, just shut up and do it again.”

Nako was confused right now. He didn’t know what to say, of course, nor did he know just what to do. All he could really do was babble and stammer endlessly much to his comrade’s dismay, only to be interrupted by Jacob’s sudden remark. He blinked as he looked across, his eyes wide as saucers, whilst he just stared, his face one of bewilderment. Did this young man just say to kiss him again? He was even more confused now, and he couldn’t make up his mind just yet. He simply shrugged to answer the other’s question, before finding himself, against his will, leaning forward ready to kiss again.
If they did kiss, afterwards if there was one, he would simply sit back, cough a bit, and then ask, shyly, “Are… are you attracted to me?” He couldn’t answer just yet whether he himself was attracted to Jacob or not. He knew for the most part that he was. Jacob did seem rather handsome, although he did look handsomer when he was working on Nako’s pose and all. When he didn’t say anything, he would just stare at Jacob, still confused. Was he into boys like Nako really was? Should he tell this fellow the truth about himself? He couldn’t decide.

Jacob shifted his weight slightly, the little weight he did have, and rolled his eyes at his constant yammering. But then finally, he was heard, and the other puckered up. He leaned forward, and down slightly and placed his lips on the other’s. He kissed softly, but precisely. He wasn’t sloppy even when he ran his tongue across the crease of the other young man’s lips. He then pulled away slowly, and grinned deviously.
“Sure. You are attractive. I’m sure people have told you you’re a handsome young man.” Being flirtatious was something that Jacob loved to do. Although he and Damon had a friendship that no one could touch, he was happy to have someone attractive in his life. “I know, big shocker. Girls are nice and all, but they—they just don’t get things the way guys do.” He rubbed the back of his neck and offered a friendly smile.

He found, to his surprise ever so much, that Jacob had been kind enough to return the kiss, even licking at his lips. He blushed just as the man pulled back, and simply chuckled, although his voice was barely cracking at the awkwardness of this conversation. He reached up and scratched his head lightly, looking away quickly so that he wouldn’t feel any more awkward than he needed to be. “Um…” He blushed even more when the other told him that he was attractive. “Well… then I think you are, too.” He smiled kindly, although that grin he had just seen made him slightly nervous.
“Yeah…” said the teenager as Jacob rambled about girls. “I guess you’re right. We need them to continue mankind, though, I suppose.” He simply shrugged with a slight tilt of his head, uncertain of where this was going. “So… um… should we, get back to drawing… Or… I mean, what do we do?” He was reaching for his boxers, not sure of what to do at this moment. In a sense, he was kind of depending on Jacob to guide him along, but he didn’t say it out loud or act as if he was in need of an answer right away.

“If it makes you feel better you can put your clothes back on.” Jacob chuckled at Nako’s awkwardness. “But If you like being naked by all means stay naked. Just know that if you do, and you don’t position yourself right, I’m going to have to come back over there and do it myself!” But Nako was already in the right position, “On second thought, I’m almost done, just sit still.” He walked back to his drawing and sat down with it, and again he got that very concentrated look. He was mot of they way done by now, and it wasn’t very often that he would stop to talk.
When he was done, he tilted his head and looked at it. He thought he did a pretty good job, but it wasn’t really up to him whether or not that was the case. “You can put your clothes on. I’m done.” With the picture in hand, he stood up and walked over to the other. “So—“ he showed the paper to him, “What do you think of yourself?”

Nako was just about ready to go and grab his boxer shorts when he was told him to just sit still. “Hmm,” he said but in a good way. He figured if Jacob was happy with Nako the way he was, not laughing at him or jeering, any of that, he could be happy, too. “At least you aren’t laughing at me…” He chuckled softly while he maintained to keep his pose the way Jacob had wanted it. He did steal a glance now and then to see how much Jacob had done, although he couldn’t really see the drawing well because of the way Jacob was positioned with the drawing facing away. He knew that artists did that, and he smirked a little, feeling rather proud of his friend for being so professional.
Instead of reaching for his clothes, like he had been told he could, he was more than eager to see the drawing, so basically jumped off the stool and headed in the direction of Jacob and the drawing. He looked straight at the drawing and studied it for a moment, his expression a serious one. “Hmm,” said the teenager as he examined the drawing more closely, and then grinned as he spun around and wrapped his arms tightly around Jacob before giving him a peck on his lips. “It’s great! It’s really nice, yeah.” He said as he released his friend, chuckling nervously, before turning around and heading for his clothes. “So… do you like Damon a lot? I mean, like a whole lot?”

The way Nako pounced of the stool surprised Jacob at first, especially since earlier he was going on about how he liked to be covered up as much as he could, and now he was running around naked. He had been embraced, and kissed—again. He of course kept his cool like he always did. He was then released, “I’m glad you like it, because it’s yours.” He grinned and then set the drawing down on top of the one dresser that he had pulled the glassed from, which he also took off and set down. They weren’t his so he wasn’t going to take them.
“Yeah—“ Jacob’s cheeks grew warm. “I guess I do like him a lot. Heh. I’ve never really admitted to it before this though.” He smiled slightly, glanced at the other putting his clothes back on, then walked over to the window. He wasn’t really worried about getting caught up there since no one in Gatlin looked up except for—“Damon! It’s Damon!” It didn’t take long before he lost his usual, suave, calm and collected self.
And sure enough Damon was looking up, at first he just glanced, absentmindedly, but then he did a double take. He had a quizzical expression, one eyebrow raised. He peered harder trying to tell if that really was Jacob he saw up there. Of course the frantic waving gave it away, and he of course waved back.

Nako smirked as he watched while Jacob put the drawing of him on the dresser. “Well, maybe you can teach me how to draw,” he said as he slipped his denim shorts on now, having already put the boxers on, “and then I could try to draw you eventually.” He stuck out his tongue looking up and down Jacob’s person from head to toe. “Although, you seem like you may be a challenge.” He was joking, of course, but did his best to keep a serious face long enough before he would burst out laughing. “Nah, you’re really good-looking. I’m surprised, to be honest, that you don’t have anyone, you know, like a boyfriend or girlfriend.”
He was putting his nightgown on when he was suddenly startled by the shouting that his friend was doing in the attic. He raised an eyebrow and looked across to where Jacob was standing just by the window. “Mate, he wouldn’t be able to see you because of that sheet,” He nodded to the sheet that was blocking the view of the attic from the outside. He watched as Jacob waved, though, and was amused at the sight of that. “Wow… Six stories high and someone can see you… Ha, you must have a big head.” He stuck out his tongue again and looked at the attic door. “Why don’t we go meet him? Maybe we can invite him… Wait… Um.” He glanced at the drawing, and then hurried across to hide it before noticing the glasses. “Jacob, these are yours. I don’t have any need for them!” He smiled as he handed them back to his friend. "Okay, we can invite him if you want. Maybe you can draw him naked again?" He smirked.

“Me? A boyfriend or girlfriend—I could have Sunshine—and a lot of guys would call me lucky for that. But I’m not interested.” Jacob chuckled quietly.
As soon as he spotted Damon he pressed up against the glass. “The only reason he can see me is he has a great set of eyes—I mean eye site,” he corrected himself nervously. “Really I can have them?” He moved forward, and grabbed them, folded them up and put it in his shirt pocket. “What,” he noticed Nako hiding the picture, “You don’t want anyone to see it? I thought it looked good myself.” He stuck his tongue out and grinned. “So—are we really—going down there to meet and greet him? And then we’re going to bring him up here so I can draw you naked together—What?” He nudged him, joking around at his expense. “Naw that would be a bit weird for me.”
Jacob bounced around like a hyper active child. This would be the first time he really talked to Damon since two days ago, which in the grand scheme of thins wasn’t very long, but it seemed like forever. But aside from all the excitement, he felt guilty too, it seemed wrong for him to act out in front of Nako. “Sorry Mate, I’m just a bit— Just sorry.”

Nako tilted his head and nodded, rather impressed that a young fellow like Jacob could ward off evil obsessive girls like Sunshine, although he had needed a little help that day. “Well, then.” He said, and that was it. He wouldn’t say anything else about relationships or anything like that since he didn’t feel as if he was ready, and knowing that if he was to start a relationship with Jacob other than just being friends he would have to keep it really secretive, and he wasn’t fond of secrets like that. He knew his being gay was a secret, but that was really the only important secret he had. Other secrets, he would keep or spill depending on how things were.
He smirked as he watched Jacob become from calm and collected to something more of loose and eager. He shrugged at the inquiry about his drawing. “It’s really good, I just don’t want us getting in trouble.” He said calmly, knowing that he had a point, but he didn’t know just how Damon would really react knowing that Jacob, who seemed to be a really close friend of Damon’s, had drawn a complete stranger naked. The kiss, he would keep a secret unless Jacob said otherwise, of course. “Nah, man, let’s ask him.” He chuckled at the thought of Damon and him posing naked together. “It’s not really a big deal. If he’s comfortable with it.” He was partially joking, but if Jacob took him seriously he didn’t really care then. But he raised an eyebrow upon the strange apology. “No, no, don’t feel sorry. I don’t know why you would, but honestly, you’re just being yourself.” He winked as he headed over to the attic door, “Let’s go say hi. Maybe he can hang out with us today, seems like you really miss him.”

“I just feel like I shouldn’t get this gitty you know.” Jacob squirmed around. “And you—and me—and that kiss.” He then sprinted for the exit. He would unlock the doors and Nako would lock the doors. Jacob would tap his foot and wait whenever the other would turn to lock up. But once he got to the outside door he ran out into the street, where he saw Damon beginning to walk away. “Wait! Where you going?”
He turned around to see Jacob, collecting his cool again, walking at him. “I was heading to the girls’ Communal House.” Realizing how ‘perverted’ that sound he paused, “I mean—Rebekah and I were going to make a corn pie—but I took off without her—and I was going to meet here there.” He looked at he feet, feeling like the situation wasn’t getting any less awkward. “The ovens are outside.” He added, then he noticed Jacob’s new friend. “Whose this.” He turned to look at him, “Who are you?” He decided that still didn’t seem very polite so he tried again, “Hullo, I’m Damon—and it’s nice to meat you—And you are?”

Nako just snickered, but simply shrugged. “We don’t have to tell him about the kiss if you don’t want us to.” He winked again, trying to make his friend feel better, but just seeing Damon apparently topped his own attempt. Jacob was already ahead of him unlocking the doors while he had to lock them behind him so that he would feel confident about the building’s security. He knew that people could still burn it down if it came to that but for now it was here and all the more security that he could have the better he felt. He actually thought about making sure that he had pails full of water, but wasn’t sure if he would be all right since there could be bugs crawling around because of that.
He followed Jacob around to where Damon was apparently starting to leave, but they had managed to catch him just in time, it seemed. He just stood there by Jacob’s side, or rather, behind him to the side leaning against the wall as he watched them share a small conversation before Damon had turned to him. “Hey, Damon. Yeah, Jacob was just telling me about you, you can just call me Nako.” He grinned as he extended his hand offering a friendly handshake. “We were just talking about inviting you over, if you can keep the place a secret.” He smirked, but remained quiet for the time being. He would let Jacob do the talking since he wasn’t really sure of what to say at the time.

“Oh—uh. Hullo—Nako.” Damon reached out to shake his hand with. His long, slender hands were cold, and his grip was a little weak, but the shake itself was firm. “I’ll try to remember that. I’m not good with names—Sorry.” He tilted his head as the other young man spoke to him, inviting him in. “Erm—Yeah I can keep it a secret. Even if I wanted to spill it, no one notices me. So it wouldn’t get out fast.” He chuckled awkwardly, realizing that it probably wasn’t funny to joke about secrets. He hunched down, letting Jacob do the talking.
“I know you can keep a secret. I’ve confided in you a lot, and I haven’t heard any of it come back to me.” He reached out and threw an arm over his shoulder. “so how about it. You want to come in for a bit?”
“Yeah. Okay, but I can’t stay long or Rebekah will murder me—or close to it. She will just scold me till I wish she murdered me.” He shrugged, “I mean if Nako—that’s it right—if he lets me in the secret club of secrets.”
