Damon did the chin ups with ease for he was light and he had a grate deal of upper body strength from working in the fields, however, curl ups where not so easy, for it is actually easier for girls to do, and he didn't use his stomach much to have much muscle in there. So it took him a while. And at times when he flat on the ground he wanted to sleep then and there, but he went against his urge. But the easiest part of all was running laps around that attic. Yes, so Nako had asked for a jog, but it was just as easy for him to sprint around the attic. His stride did most of the work, and after working out, it wasn't like he would be putting too much strain on his body by rushing into things.

It seemed like an hour had passed while Damon had been exercising. But the longer that Damon worked at it, the prouder Nako became of his friend, and that was evidential because of the young man’s grin becoming slightly wider. He decided to jog along with Damon just to be more like company. When the jogging was over, his grin was so wide he would seem somewhat strange with it. But the grin quickly dissolved into just a simple smile as he reached up and patted Damon on the back gently. “Good job, I’m very proud of you. How do you feel now?” He was sure he would know the answer already, but it didn’t hurt to ask. “If you could do this every day, you could get used to it and then do even more than you normally would.”

Quite the opposite with Damon, the longer he worked out the longer his face became. "How do I feel? I feel like I should've gotten more sleep before working my heart so hard." He groaned and threw himself down on the mattress again. He wrapped his arm over his eyes to block the light out. "Yeah-- do it every dad--" but what he was really thinking was, there is no way I am ever doing that again let alone everyday. It didn't help that he wasn't at all athletic, in that he was always tripping over himself and landing on his face. But he was also rather lazy, in that he only did what he had to to get through the day, and occasionally he would do a little extra when he could just for fun. Exorcise was not only a waste of time in his eyes, but also not at all fun. Why would he use the little extra time he had exorcising when he could go hang out with Jacob on the side of the creek?
Which brought up the idea of Jacob in his mind, and somehow his long face became longer. He rolled over onto his side and wrapped him arms around his waist, essentially holding himself. He enjoyed Nako's company, and the feel of his affection but-- he enjoyed Jacob's company on a deeper level. On the other hand, he hadn't known Nako very long, so there wasn't anyway of knowing how he would feel in the future. Only time would tell.

By now Damon had finished exercising, and he watched as his friend collapsed, in a sense, onto his mattress. He smirked but was grinning out of pride as he settled down as well, laying next to the other and then making to wrap his arms around Damon. He hadn’t really ever cuddled anyone before but he had cuddled with teddy bears and pillows, so he was pretty used to it and did it in such a way that the both of them would be very comfortable. “Why don’t you go ahead and take a short nap,” said Nako as he glanced at his comrade, before looking back up at the ceiling. He would’ve added for there to be another choice, as in that they could resume their kissing some more, but he wasn’t certain if Damon would be pleased to hear that.

It didn't take too long to fall asleep. He felt the other young man cuddling up to him, and it was a comforting and familiar feeling. For some strange reason he was fighting to keep his eyes open. His mind was racing again, but instead about good things, so it made it easier for him to settle down and sleep. He was told to take a nap, but somehow it didn't seem like he should, but eventually he couldn't fight it any more, and he drifted fast asleep.

He smiled as he saw that his handsome friend had finally fallen asleep. He had a feeling that the young fellow hadn’t had much sleep during the night, so he thought it a good thing that the other was sleeping away. While he let Damon nap away, being careful not to move too much or to make a sound, he would simply watch the ceiling, letting his thoughts wonder. He was starting to wonder if Jacob was being jealous of the twosome being alone together up in the attic, and nearly giggled but stopped himself in time.

After a couple hours had passed, Damon woke up feeling a little groggy. It wasn't a super long nap, no, and it only helped him feel a little better, but he woke himself up because his unconscious mind was worried about too much time passing by. He sprang up and looked around. "What time is it?" He was afraid that without an alarm he would oversleep and mess something of the unknown up. "I didn't sleep too long did I? Cos I have to get to work in the field-- if I don't-- I-- I-- I don't know what will happen. But it can't be good. I can't slack."

Nako was actually about to fall asleep himself when Damon had stirred. He looked across at his friend and smirked, trying not to giggle at the panic attack, or at least what seemed like one. He looked up at the window, and with a raised eyebrow he glanced back at his comrade. “Honey…” he said in a soothing voice, without even thinking about the term he had just used to nickname his friend, “Don’t you see the rain pouring? That means no work, usually.” Usually, if the task was too important to be ignored during rainy days, it couldn’t be set aside. As far as Nako knew, he didn’t have anything important to do. As for slacking, it seemed that almost everyone had been doing that lately, so Nako didn’t let it bother him.

His heart was thumping rapidly from the sudden awakening. He settled down, and once Nako mentioned the rain, he listened to the pitter patter of the raining hitting the window. Although rainy days are generally depressing ones, he liked the smell and noise of rain. Even the feel of rain at times. He laid back down and looked up at the ceiling. "So-- no work-- does that mean play?" He yawned, and then turned to his side to face the other, and buried his head in the blankets and the general area where Nako's chest was.

He shrugged, not sure as to what Damon had in mind for playing. But he watched as his friend buried his head into the blanket, resting it upon his chest. For a quick moment, he would move up the mattress to make himself more comfortable, inviting Damon all the same, aiming for the same position. He just wanted to get more comfortable and to let his friend be, as well. His fingers rose and soon found themselves brushing through Damon’s hair gently, while he put his other arm behind his own head to poise it upwards.

When he felt a soft touch to his head he turned his head just enough that he could peek at Nako through one eye. He watched him for a while, but then he closed his eyes, and just sucked up the positive attention. "Why are you doin' that?" He asked out of curiosity, not because he wanted the other to stop stroking him softly, but he was afraid it may have come out that way. "It's just--" He wasn't sure how to put it. "I like it when people do that. " He yawned, and turned his head back down into the blankets.

He noticed Damon’s eyeing him, and smirked back as a response. When inquired about his stroking his friend’s hair, he simply shrugged but said softly, “Maybe because it feels soft and looks nice?” He stuck out his tongue playfully before accidentally letting out a huge yawn. Quickly afterwards, he would ask his friend, “So what do you want to do? I’m sure you wouldn’t want to go out in the rain and get soaking wet, especially with the bandage around your head.” He had a point, a soaking wet bandage around the head could cause a very bad headache, especially when it would’ve been cold water. “We could, maybe, just nap away the day?” Of course, he didn’t mean that Damon should stay another night, although if his friend would’ve wanted to do that he wouldn’t stop Damon, then.

"You think I have nice hair?" he nuzzled the blankets, and yawned again. "But I like playing in the rain." It wasn't a good idea, but it's what he liked to do. "And playing in the rain means getting wet." He pulled his hands up to him mouth and fought back another yawn. "I used to do it with my friends when i was growing up." He continued to ramble on incoherently trying to keep from falling asleep.

He gave a little nod to answer his friend’s question about his hair. He watched as the other yawned, and since yawns were rather contagious he yawned as well himself. Then rain was a new subject to talk about, but the young man only shook his head, continuing to gently brush through his friend’s hair. “You would get sick. If you didn’t have the bandage on it would’ve been fine, as long as you were just out for like ten minutes and then came right back in.” He shrugged, but then continued, “Besides, I think it’s better up here in the dry and warm attic than out there in the wet and cold rain, right?” He looked down to watch for his friend’s reaction, and then quickly smirked, “Give me a kiss.”

"Why would I get sick cos of the rain?" he pondered out loud. Damon curled up tighter and grabbed big fist fulls of blanket that he held tightly to his face. "Is it cos of pneumonia or what not? Or like do you mean it would cause my head to get infected or somethin' somehow?" He looked back up at Nako with wide curious eyes, and listened to him talk carefully. "I mean I guess being dray and warm is better-- but--" he paused, saw his friend smirking at him and then smiled softly in return. Him being partly too tired and partially lazy, he tilted his head and puckered up, more or less saying come and get one.
