With Isaac's word, Damon got off his knees and went seize just as was commanded. Although, he figured, that there was no fixing what had been done, he wanted to use the time he had left to help out as much as he could. That was the problem, he always wanted to help. When coming to grab hold of Malachai he was cautious.
Malachai always has a machete on him. But on the other hand, if Malachai loved Lucrisha as much as he claimed to, then killed her in the name of the lord, maybe he wouldn't fight it as much as he normally would.
OOC: I know I'm probably not supposed to do that without permission huh? I fixed it. I'll just wait till I can get permission.. or not...

OOC Malachai here lol yeah please don't godmode me, I'll let it slip this time IC Malachai stood behind Isaac, keeping an eye on Damon, he wondered whether or not they knew that he'd killed many of the children who harmed Lucrisha before he killed her himself, he was still ashamed of what he'd done, by murdering his wife, he pierced his gaze into Damon, daring him to make his move because he'd kill him the moment he put his hands on him. Malachai knew his life was at end now, he didn't care at all though, Lucrisha meant more than his life to him, he looked down at Isaac with an even colder gaze in his eyes, it was Isaac who wanted Lucrisha gone, Malachai thought Isaac was jealous of Lucrisha because she often took Malachai away from his duties in being Isaac's right hand man and fulfilling his wishes in killing outlanders that were not welcome in anyway, Malachai wanted Isaac dead more than anybody else.

Ruth instinctively inched herself closer to Isaac, even going as far as to risk grabbing onto the bottom of the boy's jacket. Her eyes did not leave Malachai, but she scrunched herself closer to the boy preacher, seeking the protection he so often proclaimed belonged to the children of He Who Walks Behind the Rows. Isaac had a closer relationship with the deity than any of the other Children, and the eight-year-old figured that some of the protection would umbrella over to her. Malachai was frightening looking, and looked it more than ever. Ruth swore she saw murder flashing in his eyes.
"Isaac..." she tried to tug on his jacket, "Malachai, he's gonna die, right? He's not going to hurt us, right?" Her eyes grew wide and troubled.

Isaac rested his hand lightly atop of Ruth's red-head, all the time not lifting his gaze from his ginger tormentor. To Ruth her promised, "The Lord takes care of his children, Ruth. He is everlasting and glorious, and his word never falters." His eyes narrowed. "And he has vowed that he would punish Malachai himself."

Malachai had gotten his blade out and gazed down coldly at both Ruth and Isaac, he wanted nothing more but the pleasure of spilling Isaac's blood on the soil. He'd easily got out of Johns grip and glared at him as if to say "don't even try a foolish move like that AGAIN!!!" he then gazed coldly at Ruth, he didn't want to kill her, but if she'd got in the way of him killing Isaac then that's how it'd be. He looks at the girl then moved forward closer to Isaac; "Isaac I've seen you forgive outlanders, how dare you not give Lucrisha another chance, I spilled her blood according to his will, and now I have to take my life too, I don't see any wrong in that, however, if anyone else should go to him, it should be none other but you" he held the blade of his knife to the small preacher boys throat, and gazed down at him coldly OOC: crappy response sorry again I couldn't think up anything good grrr!

Zipporah was triumphant, and she had to fight with herself harder than she had to fight against the blue-woman in order to keep her angular face passive. Isaac would not choose her if he thought her power-hungry, nor would he exalt her if he thought her too weak to cope with the position of his right hand.
She rustled her way through the corn, praying that she had lost Jude, who carried the proof of her conquest upon her back. Her cool gaze fell onto Malachai, and her hands curled into fists. He was supposed to be dead. She could not be the new Malachai if the red head still had air in his lungs!
Then she took in her surroundings. Malachai was following the advice she had offered earlier: he was trying to kill Isaac. Cute. Too little, too late, however. She had better stakes in gambling for Isaac's favor, now.
And, though she hadn't thought of it earlier, if Isaac was dead, there also went her chances to be chosen. No one but Isaac would see the symbolism in her kill.
Instantly, she raised her crossbow just as she had raised it towards the blue-woman earlier.
"I have killed the Blue-Woman," she announced, her voice crisp and clear. The unspoken words were as vocal as the spoken ones: Just as Malachai has done three years ago. "I do not wish to strike you down as well, Malachai, but if you do not drop your weapon to the earth, I shall impale you with His blessing and you shall meet with Him. Cease now, for if I were to kill you, you would surely rot in hell for raising a blade against the Giver of His Laws!"
And, she would like to thank the academy.
Exactly what Isaac wanted to hear.
Move aside, Malachai. Your time has come.
ooc: when did Isaac forgive an outlander?

ooc: Don't remember. I think the only outlander we've had so far is dead. lol!
ic: Ruth felt the color drain from her face and prayed that her life would not be drained from her body. Malachai had done the unspeakable. He really was going to try and kill Isaac!
The child's wild imagination took wing. Without Isaac, who would lead them? Malachai -- but he was a sinner, hardly more than an infidel himself now. Surely He Who Walks Behind the Rows would grow displeased with them, and demand sacrifices! And there Ruth would be, standing around looking all sacrificial!
But what would she do? She was a coward, and cowards were useless to the Lord. Then, her prayers were answered: Zipporah rode through the corn, crossbow raised. To Malachai.
She wasn't alone. Afraid as she was, she built up strength. Isaac had gone as far as to comfort her today and soothe her fears, he had not had her killed for spilling vegetables. He was the Giver of His Laws - Malachai was an infidel! She had seen it herself. He had taken Lucrisha from the cross and fled into the cornfield. He had stolen from He Who Walks Behind the Rows himself!
"Don't worry Isaac!" Ruth howled, suddenly invigorated with strength. "I'll protect you! This is for He Who Walks Behind the Rows, and not being sacrificed until your nineteen!" She shoved her foot forward, trying to kick Malachai hard in the shins. Then she fell forward, and tried to dig her teeth into the arm brandishing the weapon, hoping that the pain would make him drop it. ---

Damon made an angry grunt, "Malachai, haven't you made things bad enough on yourself thus so far? Killing Isaac would certainly take you into an even deeper part of hell!" He took out the knife he carried with him, but seldom ever used, and held it up coming closer to the red head. He nodded he head at Zipporah, as to gesture that she was needed then turned to smile at Ruth to let her know he was proud. He was going to have to die soon himself, so he found no point in being afraid now. "You have to stop this Malachai."
Jude pushed his way through the corn with the body of the blue woman on his back, not realizing anything was going on he spoke up, "I got the body of the woman that Zipporah killed!" He looked around, "Right, now's not the time."
He dropped the blue woman and he sister came up behind him, rested her head on his shoulder and looked to see what the fuss was,"Oh my, Malachai is at it again?" She shook her head displeased.

ooc: Isaac hasn't forgiven an Outlander, you're right, Dot. He did forgive Esau, though.
The glare of the pointed dagger made Isaac stumble backwards, recoiling instinctively from the danger. His panic making him clumsy, he fell to the earth flat on his hindquarters. After a frantic scramble backwards and even further from the range of Malachai's weapon, he was able to finally take note of his surroundings.
And they were most in his favor. Ruth had charged to his defense, and Damon was trying to convince Malachai to cease his rebellion. But more than all of that was Zipporah, who had appeared through the corn with a mighty weaopon and a fire in her eyes, like the angel Gabriel. She claimed to have killed the blue-woman, and this claim was cemented by the still figure, draped carefully over Jude's back.
Her arrows truly were blessed by the Lord. She had brought glory to him on this day by spilling the blood of one infidel. She would bring more glory unto him by spilling the blood of two.
His safety secure, Isaac hastily scrambled back to his feet. "You dare to lift your blade against Me, the Giver of the Word of He Who Walks Behind the Rows? An attack unto me a an attack unto Him!" More to punish Malachai than to exonerate himself the boy added, "And the Lord was the one who discarded your 'beloved' Lucrisha, Sinner," he growled. "Her soul burns in hell, as yours will."
OOC: Yup. That post seals it. I gotta rewatch Children of the Corn. >.<"

The thought of hell made a smile tug at Zipporah's lips. The burning, crackling flames were like splashes of paint against the unholy blackness around, the screams of the damned like music to her ears. Her vision unfolded before her, giving her a bird's eye view of Hades - for she would not be damned there, herself. She imagined usurping Mary herself and taking a place as ruler of the Heavens, smiling down at Malachai as he rotted.
Was it a sin to smile at that?
Isaac had condemned Malachai to hell. Zipporah made a mental note that if she ever decided to usurp Isaac to do it quickly before he had a chance to lay a curse upon her. Note: When time comes, kill Isaac quickly.
Also, after you're done killing Malachai, remember to place something in John's drink so that he must relieve himself in a messy way. Then have him clean the outhouse.
It no longer occurred to her that she might not have Malachai's position. If he lived it was forsaken. If Isaac chose to trust another, it was forsaken. If he chose to not bother with a replacement for Malachai, it was forsaken. But her sights were on Malachai, and she had killed the blue-woman. Her position was, in her vain opinion, secure.

Malachai looked down at the small who'd been teething into his leg and lightly kicked her off, she hadn't drawn blood from him so he didn't harm her, he just looked at her coldly then walked towards Isaac; "well Isaac, whoever thought it'd come down to this?" he looked at the boy preacher coldly, then took out his knife placing the blade near the small boys throat; "this is for Lucrisha"

Being in his nature, he put the knife back into his harness, then rushed to Ruth's side. He didn't think about how she may or may not react and he didn't think about how turning his back on Malachai could be foolish. He keeled down and went to put the eight-year old on her feet again. "Are you alright, Ruth?"

Ruth hadn't merely fallen onto the ground; instead, the eight-year-old girl was flung backwards, a shrill squeal tearing from her lips. She stumbled into the dirt, her dress tearing as she continued to slide and her skin following suit. Her knee was bleeding. Tears had already welled up into her eyes. Tears of joy, not tears of pain. She had half-expected Malachai to take her life. Instead, he had mercifully just thrown her several yards away like she was nothing more than a rag doll. And she had only collected minor injuries! Praise God! Praise the Lord!
She peered gratefully up at Damon. "Thanks," she sighed. Then she remembered. "Hey. Don't you wanna kill Isaac too? Malachai doesn't know that...that...you did bad stuff."

"I don't want to kill Isaac. I mad a bad choice that has nothing to do with Isaac." Damon ripped of part of his sleeve to wrap around Ruth's knee. "I want to help Isaac as much as i can, before my punishment is upon me."
