And in their despair they turned to the only one who offered them hope: A traveling boy preacher, hailed to have a great spirit, who had a solution to their problem. And their Lord did say that if they turned to him, and promised their lives and souls to him, then he would lift them from their troubles. And so He Who Walks Behind the Rows commanded that all vessels of sin be offered up unto him. Sin was luxury. Sin was indolent. Sin was disbelief. Sin was age. And with the spent blood of all of Gatlins inhabitants aged over nineteen, a covenant with the Lord was created. Three years later in 1984, Gatlin, defended, supervised and made prosperous by the Lord still stands. Inhabited by the youthful worshipers of He Who Walks Behind the Rows. But is He Who Walks Behind the Rows truly God? If he is, then what is virtue? And if he is not, can he be stopped?"

Creek A small stream of water that runs alongside the western border of Gatlin. It's clean water - don't contaminate it, so sayeth He Who Walks Behind the Rows.
Communal Homes The communal homes shared by every child. This is where all the children sleep for the night. There are but two homes, one for unwed girls and the other for unwed boys.
Buildings (5 sub-boards) The former shops and dwellings of the deceased Gatlin townsfolk. Aside from a select few structures, entering one of these is discouraged, if not outright forbidden.
Gardens Corn, while holy and a blessing to have, is impossible to live on by itself. So, this is where the gardens are tended to. He Who Walks Behind the Rows keeps the soil fertile.
Unholy Doctrine/ Q&As The rules of both the forum and our silly corn demon are located here. Don't break them or ban hammers/crucifixions will ensue. Also the place for guests and members to post their questions, comments, and concerns.
Announcements Forum-wide announcements regarding updates to rules, upcoming events, and all sorts of other stuff you are sure to ignore will be located here.
