Damon ignored his slight crush or more rather fascination with Rebekah, and hoped that his impression of Esau and his false front wasnt real. "Congratulations to the soon newly wed under His blessing."

The boy preacher regarded the engaged man. He had never known him to speak so excessively. At the same time it added both credence to his words and a sense of mistruth. But the words against him, the giver of His laws, could not be ignored. Not a slander before such an audience.
"Silence Esau," he ordered, straightening. "Is it you who are implying that I would look down upon one of the Lord's children? Do you imply that any ill words upon one of his precious children would not be for their benefit, for them to bring more glory to Him? You speak out of turn, Esau." He turned away from the older boy, as though Esau meant little to nothing to him, not even deserving eye contact. He clasped his hands before him and stared out the window at the rising sun. "Rebekah is wild and unrestrained, a husband will suit her. I merely wonder about you, Esau. Do you think you can tame her? Bring her closer to the Lord?"
OOC: meh post.

OOC: Oh admin, I have find your writing ability to be astounding. That was not a meh post.
IC: Esau considered the possibility of beginning an argument with Isaac, but knew it would cause more trouble than good. Instead he continued to stoke his ruse, "Forgive me, My Leader, I was only defending mine and my love's honor. Of course you would never be so unwise to even consider slandering the creation of the Almighty God, He Who Walks Behind The Rows." He paused and then continued, "Concerning my wife to be, I plan on praying to our Lord for the strength and guidance to love her properly and lead her down a righteous path."

"Isaac" Damon felt shame talking out of turn. "It seems quite clear that they have chosen what they seem fit. I believe that if anyone can show Rebekah the path, it would be Esau. He seems fit. He has a strong sense of faith and perhaps he is stern enough to tame a woman like Rebekah." Damon bowed his head down and hoped the preacher boy would forgive him for speaking when not being spoken to.

OOC: flattery gets you frickin' everywhere, esau.
IC: Isaac nodded at Damon to nonverbally show that he had been forgiven before replying. "They have chosen what they see fit, but they are flawed. And furthermore..." he looked from Esau to Rebekah. "I want to know that they are certain of what they are choosing to do. Rebekah is rash, foolhearty, and impetuous. And Esau..." he trailed off, not bothering to list the male's negative traits. He was certain the boy had them. But besides the disrespect he had just displayed - a disrespect he had never revealed before - Isaac's mind drew a blank. A blank except for the instinctual dislike that rose whenever he thought of Esau.
"They must learn to love each other despite these flaws. I was not aware of their courting. Does Esau truly know what Rebekah is? Does Rebekah know Esau? For how long has it been drawn out, this courting? Is there a reason, perhaps, for this sudden announcement?" he fixed his gaze onto Rebekah's stomach.

Esau understood his meaning, "No disrespect at all intended to you, Isaac, but Rebekah and I are not adulters. We have not once fornicated, and I intend to wait until after the wedding to do so."

Damon's cheeks turned slighly red at the thought. "Um... I think Isaac was... asking if... you want to do it for the children not that you have on on the way." He faked a smile and glanced at Rebeka.

At the word 'fornicated' Rebekah leapt into the air. She turned beat red. Then Damon spoke up, and she completely lost whatever sense of control she had possessed. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait!" she held out her hands as a gesture for silence. "I'm going to have the consummate the marriage, aren't I?" She wrapped her arms around herself and visibly shivered. "Ewe ewe ewe ewe ewe..." Suddenly, realizing where she was, she straightened. "I'm talking about female sheep!" she defended herself. "They're called ewe too. We should send a group down to Hemingford and take some of their sheep. That would be neat."
Rebekah was still rambling about nothing. Isaac hadn't taken his gaze from Esau, though he did tilt his head in the direction of the girl, complaining about the most important duty should would have of being a wife, showing disrespect before both Isaac and Malachai. A challenge was evident in his eyes. "I am tolerating her childish outburst for now," he said flatly. "When she marries, it will be the duty of her spouse to chastise her." His eyes strayed to the butt of Malachai's knife lying lazily in its holster.

OOC:That was fantastic
IC: Esau jumped to silence Rebekah, seeing that Isaac was displeased with her actions. "Rebekah, act properly when in the presence of our leader, he deserves our utmost respect.

OOC: thank you. Flattery, flattery, flattery. xD Admin's pet. >.> IC: "Oh, I know that!" Rebekah agreed, nodding as Esau spoke. "He's all...like, Isaac and stuff, and he talks to God and God talks to him and he's gonna say 'wowee' when he sees how holy I'm gonna make you. Well, not as holy as Isaac or someone important like that, but better than you are now. You gotsalot of sacrilege goin' on, my love!" She offered him a winning smile, dimples pressing against her cheeks. Isaac was about to press his point deeper into home, seeing as it went over Esau's head. He was about to request that Malachai reprimand Rebekah in Esau's place, with the back of his hand or the butt of his dagger, but held his tongue when he heard Rebekah finish up her speech. "A heresy?" he asked, seizing it with relish. His eyes lit up noticeably. The fool had confirmed his suspicions. "How so?" Rebekah sewed her lips shut, so he looked towards Damon.

"I don't think you should silence her. So she has childish outbursts. I thought children where sacred in this community." Damon then bowed his head in silence realizing his burst was probably looked down upon as well. "I'm just trying to say, that I don't think it's right to say she is to act differently than the others...."

OOC: You were planning that all along, YOU HAVE A SECRET AGENA!!!! My downfall is your goal, how dare you, HOW DARE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! jk IC: Esau was flabbergasted, totally caught off guard by his fiance's loose lips. "Oh, that, um, you see earlier today, I kinda refered to He Who Walks Behind The Rows via anagram. Please forgive me, wise speaker of His word, I promise to not speak in such a blasphemous tongue again." Esau knelt at the foot of Isaac, praying to his God that He would keep him safe. He waited for a reply from Isaac, or really anything to break the awful silence surrounding him.

"You see Isaac, Esau though if he shortened our lord's name he would have more time to worship Him. But once he realized his mistake... He promised he wouldnt do it again realizing it was wrong." Damon looked to esau hoping to lighten his sentence.
