As Bunny pointed out in a previous thread, there are a lot of plot holes in our beloved Children of the Corn series. Let's all gather our knowledge, and list all the flaws - plot-wise - with Children of the Corn! I will go first...
Why didn't Sarah or Job age in the three years from the massacre to the movie? Between 5 and 8, a child will change quite a bit...

Because they were too scared to age! Um...If He Who Walks Behind the Rows could shoot corn stalks at people like in the third film why didn't he do it to stop Burt and Job?

Um...If He Who Walks Behind the Rows could shoot corn stalks at people like in the third film why didn't he do it to stop Burt and Job? Because he's a baby demon and didn't know how yet! But, for that matter, in the third movie he also becomes a giant like, praying matnis monster. Agani, if he could unlock so much badassery, why didn't he use it to defend himself in the first movie? Too lazy?

Perhaps it was his day off? Or after eating he gets sleepy?

In the second movie, Micah kills a man with voodoo. If he can do that, why does he not do that for the entire town? Why just that one random man who wasn't bothering anybody?

The second movie is RIDDLED with plot holes.
The one that irked me that most is that they said they found 50 bodies -- and then said that they had found half the town.
Gatlin had a population of nearly 1000.
There were only 100 people killed? There were 900 children?
Mathmetically, that means every individual person had 8 kids.
Every woman gave birth to 16.
T-that's....that's....that can't be right. O.O

I think my only issue is the COTC with the woman in the hotel, where everyone's turning back to kids. I don't think it ever said anything about how the kids became ghosts, and the corn came to life, I don't even I've ever seen that in any of the other movies I've watched. =/

The seventh one is---it's something. xD You're right. I always sort of accepted the goings-on as magic-ghost-stuff, but frankly, explanations are nice. I really shouldn't just dismiss things as magic just because it's not explained. >.>
