8 years old, so Lil' Ruthie isn't very developed. She is of an average height for an eight year old at four-foot-one. Has long, puffy wild ginger hair and clear blue eyes.
Personality: The cult overthrew the town three years ago, when she was five, and so she has been suitably and completely brainwashed into blindly following He Who Walks Behind the Rows. Eat your veggies? Kay. Don't go into the street? Kay? Wave buh-bye to your big brother as he walks into the cornfield to be devoured by a demon? Alright - what's for lunch?
Conversely, Ruth is also terrified of he Who Walks behind the rows. She visibly shakes whenever she toils in the cornfield, and will scream and run away at any unusual noise. She is also terrified of everything else, and will try to avoid action at almost any price. Almost. Generally she can be talked into following anyone into doing anything stupid, from killing your own parents to make it rain to playing it-tag around the easily-destroyable cucumbers that are being grown. "I don't wanna! It's scary!" I'll be your best friend!" "...Well...okay..."
Innocent and blissfully ignorant, Ruth trusts very easily and tries to please everyone.
History: As she was five when the craziness started, the cult is the status-quo for her. A terrifying status quo. Her loving parents were slaughtered by her elder brother, and once she got used to the idea, her elder brother had to go into the cornfield. Little has happened to her since. She doesn't argue with Isaac or Malachai, and actively tries to please the former while avoiding the latter. She thinks this is the safest way to avoid being crucified (which happens a lot) and so far she has been correct.
