Okay, so let's say Lettie Mae and her husband Billy Bob are driving on the roads near Gatlin. They have a four week old baby, BooBoo, in the back, sleeping away.

Parents would be dead, definitely. What about the baby?

Most likely, the children would take it and raise it as one of their own. In some of the movies they get married and actually have babies, only to die themselves a few years later. I think that's how it is here. I don't think they would kill a baby since they would believe it to be very pure and innocent.

I don't think there has ever been a non adult outlander in any of the movies (if there has been excuse my error). So we can probably have the child be accepted into the cult without going against canon.

Actually, it might be a gray area. They might consult He Who Walks Behind the Rows to handle it on a case-by-case basis. this way would ensure (not that the children would know, but the demon in the backyard would) that they didn't take in a child that people would miss and would cause a large-scale investigation.

It could be something like that, yes, what Dot had said. There's always the possibility, though, that if someone did go missing, and people started looking into it, that they could end up like the parents in their search for the missing child. This could be a little issue, though, as there's still a chance that a lot of people could always come altogether at once and all these children wouldn't be able to top them all before one gets away and tells the government to nuke the city because of demon-possessed children. =3
