Nako just realized that his friend did have some good ideas for what they could do. “Well, yes, play pretend could be fun. Hide and seek, definitely fun, since we could hide anywhere in the whole building. But maybe not for Truth or Dare… It might be boring with just the two of us but we can try it when it gets dark.” He grinned mischievously, but then stretched out his arms and legs. “Maybe we will find something to eat, too, in case you get hungry.” But of course, the cornfield was not too far down the streets… If Nako wouldn’t mind walking through the dark just to get a couple of cobs of corn, they could have a little dinner for the night. After all, Nako just needed a pot of boiling water to make the ears soft enough to eat, and he had boiled water plenty of times up in the attic. But then again, for now, he just wanted to stay inside and hang out with his friend. “So what do you want to do first?” He asked as he put an arm around Damon’s waist, attempting to pull him close a little so he could rest his head on Damon’s shoulder. "I mean... I'm not going to put my shirt back on, but if you want to put yours back on, you could." He did want Damon to feel comfortable, of course.

"Um--" Damon's stomach was growling, and had been for a while, but he ignored it since he was always hungry. "How about for now, you tell me about yourself. Like-- you know-- like the normal stuff you tell people. Like--" He felt dumb and shut up, "How about we play a bored game? So long as it isn't Monopoly." Damon hated Monopoly, and the Game of Life. He was very bad at both, but at least Life didn't have a huge complex set of rules with buying and selling stuff and money-- the idea of it made him angry inside.

Nako smirked, but shrugged at Damon. He wouldn’t mind either way, and so he started for his dresser. He pulled out the drawer adjacent to the one with the two drawings, and then pulled out three board games. None of them was Monopoly, as Nako couldn’t seem to find all the pieces to it, so he had tossed it away long ago. He looked up at Damon, and shrugged. “Well, we can talk about whatever you want to talk about. But let’s not talk about Jacob or Rebekah. Okay?” He smirked at his friend before laying out the three games neatly so that he could see what they were.

Damon looked at the three games that had been laid out. He liked Parcheesi the best since he was pretty good at that one. Maybe it was because it was rather simple, and he wasn't very comfortable with his intelligence or lack there of, or at least he felt like there was a lack of. "I can do that--" He grinned, "What about Sunshine? I suppose you have the hots for her like every other boy in Gatlin." He shrugged not really wanting to talk about Sunshine, be he thought he would at least ask to see if that would get the other's goat.
"I want to play Parcheesi-- is that okay? It's pretty easy so even i can play it. I used to beat Sunshine at it a lot when I was little, so you better watch out I'm a pro-- well maybe not. If you haven't noticed she's not very bright." He laughed, and then stopped and shifted around awkwardly. "Right so-- Parcheesi--"

Nako nodded, proud of Damon for agreeing with him. He did shrug about Sunshine, not really caring whether they could talk about her or not. But he shook his head, “No, not really. She’s really stupid…” He chuckled, “I wouldn’t kiss her even if I was the last man in Gatlin.” He chuckled, and then looked up at Damon. “Besides, I would only kiss you. Most of the time.” He would’ve said that he would kiss Jacob, too, but of course, since he said not to talk about him he wasn’t going to start. He nodded when Damon implied playing Parcheesi. He had only played it a couple of times himself and would lose because he didn’t understand how the game worked. He smirked at Damon and nodded briefly, “Right, you might have to teach me how to play it, it’s been a while and I always lost.”

"Yeah well, I've been asked why I haven't kissed her-- or worse, Sunshine. And I'm always like she's my cousin you sicko! I mean she's not really my cousin, but-- she's still my cousin." He wasn't really sure if that was clear, but what was the point in going into it. "Besides, she hates me." Damon laughed and then stopped to let the other talk. "I could teach you. It's really easy. I mean it's really easy. Even I can play it." He smiled at Nako reassuringly.

Nako only listened, calmly but smirking at his friend, as Damon went on about Sunshine. He rolled his eyes as he opened the box of Parcheesi, but only because he was amused at the other. He shrugged, “She’ll be gone soon.” He did regret saying that but it was true. The woman only had really one more year to live before she would have to go and visit He Who Walks Behind the Rows never to come back. Now Damon had been kind enough to offer teaching Nako. “Sure, if you won’t mind.” He grinned as he pushed the box toward Damon, figuring he would let his friend set it all up and whatnot. Part of him was happy that Damon hadn’t gone to put his shirt back on, so he was getting comfortable and feeling more confident about himself. “So didn’t anyone ever tell you that you were a really good kisser?” He said absently as he scratched at his shoulder, looking down at the game and watching the setup.

Damon began to set up the board, with four green pieces in one corner and in the adjacent corner he put blue. "I call blue." He went on, pulled the dice out and threw the other colored pieces back in the box. "Blue's my favorite." he felt the need to explain. "Okay, so whoever rolls a one gets to take a little guy out first," he pointed to one of his blue 'men' and then went on. "Then you try and take that guy all the way around the board, and up here to home in the middle." He then went on and traced the path with his finger. "Now, on the way there you roll the dice, and you get two numbers. If you have two pieces out you can split the distance, but only by the numbers on the dice. Like if I roll a two and a six I can move one piece two spaces and the other six," he paused to see if Nako had any questions. "And if you roll a one, you can pull another man out of the start. And that's pretty much Parcheesi. Oh and if you land on a space where one of my guys is sitting, you can kick him back to start if you want." He stretched out, then picked up the dice, ready to roll when Nako said he was a good kisser. "Erm-- no-- I-- I never kissed enough people to get feedback--" His face turned bright red.

Nako listened intently, getting a little confused, but soon he would start to understand the game slightly better, and nodded calmly to show he was learning and taking it all in. When he looked up to tell Damon about his being a good kisser, he had seen the young man’s face turning bright red, and smirked. “Well, you are. In fact, I want another kiss.” He stuck out his tongue playfully, even leaning forward slightly just in case Damon decided to take him up on his request. His hand was going for the box to pull out the red men. His favorite color was blue as well, but Damon had taken those already, so he chose his second favorite color, which would be, of course, red. He would set them up accordingly and then wait for Damon to roll the dice.

Damon leaned in a little, and figured if the other young man was really that desperate for a kiss he would come just a little farther. Although the whole ordeal between Rebekah, Jacob and Nako made him feel like a slut, but like everything else he shrugged it off.
He purposefully pulled out the green because whenever he played, he would blue, Sunshine would be yellow, and Jacob would be red. It didn't occur to him, that other people liked playing as red and or yellow. But he didn't mention it since he wasn't supposed to. So instead, he picked up the dice, and then shook them a few times in his hand before throwing them down. He rolled a two and a five, which meant he couldn't move. He handed the dice over.

Nako saw that Damon had leaned closer to him, knowing that he was going to give him the kiss he asked for, so without hesitating he would grab Damon’s jaws and give him a very passionate kiss. He pulled back a moment later, blushing a little. He grabbed the offered dice with a mischievous chuckle, glad that Damon couldn’t move just yet, and then rolled them. The first one landed right on a three, but the other rolled for some time further down the board until it stopped on an one. Nako, confused, went to grab one of his red men, but then looked up curiously. “What do I do now?”

"You take it out of the start box. Put it on that square there." Damon pointed. Then picked up the dice ready to shake them again. "You can move him next turn, clockwise around the board." He shook those dice harder this time than the last, then threw them on the board, where the one stayed put and the other bounced back up and his Damon in the nose. He rubbed his nose, figuring he probably had that one coming. "One and five!" Luckily the one that bounced of his nose landed on a one, so he moved the piece out onto the path.

Nako did as he was told, putting his man on the square. He watched as Damon picked up the dice and rolled again, only to end up snickering when he saw one of them hitting his poor friend in the nose. It was truly an amusing sight to behold, but he regained his calm and watched as Damon made his move. Now he took the dice for himself and started to roll the dice. Now they hit the board and landed on a two and a four. Nako, not knowing exactly what to do, looked up at Damon for guidance.

"Move the guy six spaces clockwise. That's all you have to do. It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Although i suppose we could've played a card game instead--" He paused in thought, he wasn't really sure how to play any card games other than uno, rummy, old maid, and go fish, only kid stuff. "I mean-- if you feel more comfortable playing something else we don't have to play Parcheesi." He scratched the back of his head.

Nako nodded, understanding the game better now that Damon was explaining it carefully to him. He moved his figure six spaces in the clockwise direction, and smirked. “It does look easy… I’m sure I will get the hang of it soon enough.” He looked up at Damon, though, when the suggestion of playing a game with cards came up. He shrugged, “No, no, we can keep playing this until one of us wins. I’m learning how to play it thanks to you.” He smiled kindly before handing the dice back to Damon. “Besides, aren’t you having fun?”
