Ruth blinked. "B-bleeding...vegetables?" she stuttered, rubbing her head. "Um, John...my head is bleeding. The corn that almost ate me didn't bleed. I got blood on it. I-is that what you mean? Is that disgusting? Did I desecrate the corn? Oh no..." she shuddered, and curled into a fetal position. "Don't beat me again..."

John Peters looked at Ruth with disgust. Bleeding vegetables? Was that what they were calling it now? "I don't care what it's called. It's disgusting, and REALLY disgusting if someone as young as you is doing it. And Sunshine shouldn't talk about it around you..." He stared blankly at her description of the corn eating her. She was telling a lie, like all girls. "I'll beat you if you deserve it. So quiet."

"B-but I don't deserve it!" Ruth ejaculated. "A beating, that is. I don't deserve a beating. I can't help my head! It got bloody from a beating...I think..." Or was it when Deborah threw a rock at her? "And if you beat me again, I'll just bleed more, and you'll beat me more, and I'll bleed, and it'll be a vicious cycle and no one will win!" Hopefully that would convince the lumbering 18 year old to leave her alone. There was a reason adults were sacrificed. Even at eighteen, they started getting a little maniacal.

[EDITED AND FIXED]
Nellie was looking for a place that was quiet and away from the strange town, and anything that appeared odd. She found herself a abandoned house that she made sure to check out and it appeared safe enough but just for good measures she went to the houses attic, as cramped as it was the 16 year old was able to make room and even find comfort. She rested her head against a window and started to doz off soon falling asleep. She woke a few hours later to noises below and she slowly crept towards the door leading up to the attic trying to tune into what was being said. She couldn't make out the words and made a small step forwards trying to catch what was being said. Creek! went one single floorboard and she cussed her stupidity quietly hoping nobody heard the noise.
[ooc; Haha sorry was told to come here and wasn't too creative. =P]

Groggy from blood loss as she was, Ruth still heard the creeking floorboards. She uncurled from her fetal position and leaped into the air with a yelp. When she tumbled back down, she wrapped her arms around her shoulders and shivered. "John! Did...did you somehow...call the rest of everyone? Am I gonna get crucified now? I can't help it!" she sniffled, and used her shirt sleeve to wipe the snot that spilled from her nose. "I hurt my head! I can't make it stop bleeding! It does what it wants!"

John Peters rolled his eyes at the plight of the gratuitously bleeding eight-year-old child. "Stop being such a drama queen," he ordered, crossing his arms and fixing her with a glare. However, the creek stole his attention. He blinked, and strode out of the room into the hall, just in time to see a girl creeping forward.
"And what are you doing here?" he demanded. "Geeze, what is with everyone being so annoying today... Are you spying? Why?" Seriously, why?

Nellie had thought that she was being careful. She was almost thinking that she could creep out of the house safely and get away with it, but of course that wasn't going to happen. She almost jumped right out of her skin when suddenly the boy caught her in the act. She stared at him for a few seconds dumb founded then straightened up leveling her gaze with his. She bit down on her tongue because she knew if she spoke it would only be a snide comeback. Why did it matter? She wanted to say, but she didn't because she had a feeling if she got herself in a fight she would be outnumbered, and out bested. She spoke the half truth, but some of her haughty stubbornness leaked in her words, "I came here to be alone." She felt it best to leave out that this whole town was strange, "So no I'm not spying I just didn't think an abandoned house was the popular trend nowadays."

Ruth lifted her gaze from the floor and squinted at the newcomer. And then squinted harder. And harder, until she could hardly see anything. That was a silly thing to do, she reasoned, so the eight-year-old ginger just blinked at Nellie.
"Hey," she muttered, "I don't recognize this girl." Though then again, her head injury may have been making her vision fuzzy. And her memory fuzzy. And geeze, she wanted to go to sleep...
"Is she an...an interloper? Outlander? A...bad thing?" Although Ruth knew how dangerous those were, she had trouble injecting her voice with enough indignant rage or terror. Honestly, what would the outlander do? Make her bleed to death?

Feng was just utterly confused by all the commotion. He couldn’t understand bits here and there, but knew there was getting to be quite a crowd in here. It was enough to start a splitting headache for a quiet boy like Feng. He wanted to scream at everyone and tell them to shut the hell up, but there were several people who were obviously older than him. There was also he was usually kind-hearted. The naked boy rolled his eyes as he turned on his heel, only to have yet another person enter the building. This was definitely the worst place to hide. He glanced up at the girl and raised an eyebrow, noticing how new she seemed to be. She could’ve been around for such a long time, but if that was the case Feng never really paid any attention to her.

Colt blinked. The commotion only seemed to get worse with each passing second. To start with, there were only the two boys, but then there was the little girl, and now there were the three teenagers, the last having just entered the building. He was a little offended by the male teenager in their little remarks about Feng’s nudity, so immediately stripped off his clothes. He didn’t do it to get attention, though. He only did it as a way to support Feng. When it seemed the boys were starting to fade out of the picture, he had an idea. He glanced at the stairs, and muttered under his breath before grabbing Feng’s arm. He whispered into the other’s ear, “Let’s try going upstairs and hide. Maybe they will leave soon if they don’t notice us.” He started to open the door quietly. If Feng was following, they would begin ascending to the upper floor.

OOC: So apparently heres where all the cool people are and being a follower I'm here now too. >: (
Sonya who was following Ruth's blood trail made it the oddly popular abandoned house. She kicked the door open and started to yell. "Hey, Ruth! Guess what I did to Isaac!?" She blinked not expecting there to be this many people in one of the abandoned homes. That was strange. And as the captain of Gatlin's Defense Forces it was her job to punch the answers out of the people around her. She was about to whack the nearest person in the head when she spotted the two naked boys heading upstairs. "Hey! You two freaky boys on the steps! Stupids you need the opposite sex to make babies. Two sticks won't do any good. Here grab this girl..." She motioned to Nellie. "She looks ready."
Sonya beamed with pride. Already she solved a problem and she only met up with this random group seconds ago. "Right...Anyways I came to check on Ruth and tell her all what I did to Isaac. Is she still alive?" She cocked her head to the side staring at the random people in the room. "I followed what I presumed to be her blood trial here. Better answer quick or I might have to have a purging time..."

[ooc; x'D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!]
[ic;] Nellie blinked, once twice, three times. She was about to answer the girl who looked like she was about to die and her mouth clamped tightly shut when she noticed another boy younger then she naked looking at her questionably. She had a feeling she should of been the one giving him the questionable stare but she didn't instead she whirled around and out of view ignoring the fact that there were Naked.Children.In.This.House. It was also worse when she heard the tearing of clothes rip off and she didn't have to look to know that there were more naked people. What was that line she once heard from the movie Couples Retreat? Now it's a party? Yeah, that one. She cursed silently at whatever magical force was above this all because if that was the cause a good laugh was happening. She ignored everybody starting to feel claustrophobic in this place suddenly lively she didn't like it, and she wanted her peace and quiet again. She jumped when the door was suddenly kicked in and a voice yelled causing her to turn and stare blankly at a woman who seemed a bit off her rocker. She blushed bright crimson when the women spoke and quickly accessing her options she strode over to the little girl who was bleeding. She spoke gently, but in a obvious rush, "Hey that looks pretty bad let me help you." It was kind of a question and also a very good distraction moment for her to gently but quickly lead the girl into the nearest bathroom away from everyone else. As soon as they were away from the growing crowd she breathed a sigh of relief.
[ooc; I hope you don't mind that I kind of forced led your character into the bathroom... =/]

Sunshine was busy lagging as usual. Her mind, if not in the gutter somewhere wouldn't exist at all. She had been spacing as John was arguing with everything. And people and-- "So like, is this a party or something, cuz like, getting stoned is always better in groups. Like, who sent out the invites?" He gaze shifted to John. "It was you wasn't it?" She put a hand on her hip and shifted her weight to one side. "You know, you and Isaac like yelling a lot. Are you like, related or something?"

{ ooc - it's fine. Ruth is in no position to object, and is so weak she couldn't fight anyway. } Ruth was dimly aware of being dragged forward, but where and by whom she wasn't certain. At first she thought she just wasn't certain because of delerium, but when she lolled her head forward and got a clearer view of her savior(?), she realized: this. was not. a Gatlin native. She had been right before: this was an outlander. It was an outlander. Weren't they evil? Or at least unworthy to touch a chosen child like her, one who was chosen by He Who Walks Behind the Rows? That was how it worked, right? Ruth wished she knew. "You know..." she mumbled. "You don't live here." It was a statement, but she waited for confirmation. After all, maybe she WAS just out of her mind. In which case, what she said was offensive. "There's no need to beat me!" she cried. "It's already happened today! See! Your work is done!" "Wait..." she mumbled.

Moments later, Colt had whispered into Feng’s ears about going upstairs to hide. He noticed how Colt had stripped off the rest of his clothes, and at first raised his eyebrow as to inquire about it, but because of the confusing commotion rising now with another girl who seemed like she was all too proud of herself, he couldn’t really ask anything at the moment. He agreed with the boy and started heading up the stairs just as soon as the door was opened. But then the newcomer had caught them and called them freaky. He wasn’t really pleased with that. “Just because we’re naked doesn’t mean we’re freaks!” He snapped at the woman but did not understand her statement regarding two sticks and babies. He stole a glance at the girl she pointed to, the one he wasn’t really familiar with, but he started to go back up the stairs now. He was starting to be slightly uncomfortable with the group becoming bigger and weirder by the minute. By the time he reached the top of the stairs, he grabbed Colt's hand and dragged him across a long hallway into a large room. It used to be a master bedroom, but the only things in the room was the old mattress with springs poking through it and a large trunk.
