TAG; Event (Open) Post Order; Feng, Colt, Ruth, John Peters, Sunshine
Feng couldn’t stop being furious. Recently, he was playing at the creek, trying to be captain of the naked pirates, but the twins ruined his fun. Upset, he left the creek and took the boy named Colt as well. An hour passed, and now Feng was streaking through the streets. He had his clothes with him, but he didn’t care about putting them back on for the moment. His eyes were scanning for anything that could be fun, but also a suitable place for hiding. He didn’t want the twins finding him anytime soon, since he knew he would just beat the crap out of them if they tried to confront him.
It wasn’t too long later when he found an old building. From the outside, the building had two floors, including the attic. The upper windows were much smaller than those on the ground floor, and they were also boarded up from the inside. The building looked old enough to be from the nineteenth century, with its red paint fading away into oblivion and its boards bending left and right. Dark, thick cracks gave the building the finishing touch. The boy didn’t care if it was old or looked creepy. It was the perfect place for his ideas, for fun and for hiding. “C’mon,” he said to the other boy as he slowly pushed open the thick wooden door.

He was struggling to keep up with the red boy ahead of him. Well, Feng was mostly peachy, since he didn’t have anything on, but it was common sense that anger would turn someone’s skin red. It was usually in the face, but he could tell his companion was more than just angry. He was confused, honestly. Back at the creek, he thought the twins were cool, and even the guy he tried to tackle down to the ground was all right. He was happy to make new friends, but then things suddenly changed. Apparently, the twins did something to really upset Feng, and Feng just wanted to leave. Before he knew it, he was being dragged through the cornfield, struggling to at least put one thing on. His boxer shorts were only half on by the time they were out in the streets.
Happy that there was a minute’s pause, he quickly fixed that, and then included his shirt. But the walking started again. Colt didn’t want to upset Feng by trailing so far behind, so he rushed ahead, throwing his pants over his shoulder. He caught up with the other boy quickly. It was only a few minutes later until they had approached a very old building. It looked like a normal house, but the attic was only the second floor. Considerably, it was a strange house that Colt found himself in only minutes later. The interior of the house was dark, despite the spared windows. He turned around and saw dark red drapes hanging over the glass and realized it caused the eerie red shadows within the house. He saw a set of stairs, but as he tried to squint at the top, all he could see was pitch black. He gulped, knowing he didn’t want to go up there unless he was with someone else.
He glanced around the house again. There were only at least four rooms from what he could see. There was the master bedroom to the left, the kitchen in the far back, the small bathroom to the right, and then the living room where the boys were standing in. “Wow, this place is kind of cool… But creepy.” It looked like it hadn’t been used in many, many years, so a lot of the interior looked better than it had on the outside. But that was probably because the walls and floors were naked, and there weren’t really any doors except for the one just hanging wide open at the bottom of the stairs. “Let’s not go that way, please?” He said with a soft whimper as he reached forward to close the door, not liking the darkness from above.
It was during that moment that he noticed the house wasn’t really as empty as it had looked. In the far back of the kitchen, he could see a large table just resting against the wall, and strangely, the back door. What intrigued him more was the back door, as there was only but a very narrow alley behind the house that only a mountain bicycle could barely fit through, but the door was wide enough to only open halfway before the brick wall would stop it. However, he saw objects on the table. There was a butcher knife, a wrench, a large shard of broken glass, and some kind of tire jack that didn’t look quite normal. There was also an old book spread open over these objects. He raised an eyebrow, but hesitated to say anything. A moment passed, then he whispered loudly to his friend, “I don’t think we’re alone.”

It was amazing how a change in scenery can likewise change an entire outlook on life.
Ruth would have pondered this idea in relation to her flight from the cornfield to find shelter in a cranky old house, but frankly, the wound on her head kept her from thinking anything beyond: head hurt. Was it still bleeding? She lifted a hand to poke the wound, recoiling in disgust from it when she saw that it was colored with her rust-colored blood.
Yup. Still bleeding.
She vaguely heard someone comment that there was another being in there. The eight-year-old hesitated. Isaac had dismissed her, but he likely hadn't forgotten about how rude she had been. Had he sent a beating patrol?
"I can't endure another beating!" she howled. "My head's bleeding! Leave me alone!"

He rolled his eyes. Obviously, the house was creepy. There wasn’t any need to point that particular fact out. He glanced across and saw the other boy shutting the door to the stairs. He had been in a dark attic once, with those stupid twins. It was pretty hard to scare him when it came to darkness or even silence. He noticed the table in the kitchen soon enough, and raised an eyebrow because of its peculiar position against the back door, and the various tools resting on its old surface. It was almost as if someone had been planning a murder or two. Well, the children were mainly responsible for almost all of the murders in Gatlin, but this was not theirs. They didn’t try to hide, not unless they had to kill someone fast. He dropped his clothes to the floor at his feet, wanting to explore right away.
He shrugged, having the same feeling that they weren’t alone. “Maybe they are upstairs.” He smirked at Colt, waiting for a couple of seconds to see his friend’s reaction. Without giving it another moment’s thought, he rushed for the door and started to pull the knob when a girl’s voice howled into the living room from the bathroom. He raised an eyebrow again. He shot a nervous glance Colt’s way, and then slowly and cautiously approached the bathroom. The voice said her head was bleeding. Feng, being the kind that cared, couldn’t refuse to check on her if she actually existed. He noticed her soon enough, clutching her bleeding head in the bathroom. “Wow.” He muttered, surprised to even see a wound of that magnitude. He never thought Isaac would be capable of that. To him, Isaac was the guy who would go around beating people if necessary. “What did you do?”

Colt blinked. He didn’t understand why Feng seemed annoyed of him, but it was probably just the way that the boy usually was. He was also surprised to see that the other boy was still naked. He figured by now Feng would get dressed now that they could rest. He supposed there was more to his friend than he thought he knew. Well, after all, he only just met the guy this morning. “Um,” he said as he heard the howling voice, too, and recognized it immediately as one belonging to a girl. “You might want to put something on…” He pointed to his shorts, where they were just laying on the floor by Feng’s feet. But his words didn’t catch Feng’s ears as the other boy seemed to ignore him and head into the bathroom.
He followed closely behind, having dropped his shirt. He adjusted his overalls so that they wouldn’t keep falling downwards, although they were still loose. He peeked into the bathroom just as Feng entered, and saw the bloodied girl as well. His eyes widened. Quickly, he reached for the faucet to turn on the water, but failed miserably as the town hadn’t any running water in months. He glanced around the bathroom quickly, not liking the sight of the blood. He was doing his best not to puke all over the other two when he finally found a pail just sitting in the corner. It looked like water, although rust had tended to dye it a rough brownish hue. But it was water nonetheless, and Colt, being at his current age, knew nothing more about infectious water that could make someone sick. He grabbed the pail and tossed the water very quickly without warning at the girl’s face. He joined in with Feng, “What did you do?”

Ruth was so busy cradling her wound (ie: her head) that she didn't notice her companions' clothes or lack there of. "Yeah...put something on it. That'll help..." she mumbled, though even she wasn't sure whether or not she was being sarcastic.
And she was never sarcastic.
"Do? Um..." she squinted, trying to remember. "Deborah and I were gonna make mud pies...and....then the corn started to eat me...then... Deborah hit me with a rock to save me. Then Isaac got mad at me because I said something nasty, and Sonya beat me. Though Isaac just told her to chas-chastise me. Chastising hurts."
Ever the optimist she added, "But no corn is eating me anymore. So...there's that."

John Peters, a lithe, shapeish (not shapely. Shapeish) eighteen year old, stepped into the building, mildly curious if Sunshine was following him, but not to the point where he was going to glance behind him and check. The building looked creaky and abandoned, and looked like an appropriate place for Sunshine to show him that although Isaac threatened insubordination and drastic sins with stoning, getting stoned wasn't all that bad. In fact, it was like a trip.
John still didn't know what she was talking about. But he completely forgot too, upon entry and seeing that there was a naked boy in front of him.
"Dude! What the heck! Put some clothes on! No one wants to see that!" Then he noticed Ruth. "And stop getting blood everywhere! Rudeness!"

At John's sudden exclamation regarding the boy's nakedness, Ruth covered her eyes. "I wasn't looking, I swear! Just great! Another beating for looking at indecent boys!" In quick succession, John scolded her for getting blood. "Beating me again won't make the blood come out slower! It'll just add to the bloodshed! Mercy!"

There was a small lag on Sunshine's part. She had been following John Peter's rather closely till something caught her attention, as to what it was doesn't really matter since she didn't remember what it was at that point anyway. "We're gonna get stoned!"
She noticed the naked boy, "What's goin' on? Why is he naked? Oh! Oh! I know! I totally get it!" She paused for as much thought as she could, which wasn't very much, and then perverted the situation. "Hey! You shouldn't do that!"

"Do what?" Ruth blinked, confused, thinking that Sunshine was pointing to her. "Bleed? I can't stop. Maybe...maybe if you got some bandages?"

"Oh-- My-- Gosh! Aunty flow came early!" Sunshine exclaimed to Ruth's statement. "Wait-- How old are you? Why would you do that when your--" Sunshine stopped her statement there, not realizing she stopped talking. "Wait-- what are we doing here?"
OOC: Okay, I'm just going to say right now, I feel really foul playing as Sunshine! I also feel like I have to scrub poor Ruth's brain clean after this is all said and done with.

He raised an eyebrow, nearly scoffing at Ruth’s remarks about the corn. She didn’t exactly look like the kind of girl that would run around fabricating such stories. He didn’t have time to say anything else when the door opened and some man exclaimed upon seeing his naked form. He blinked at the adult furiously, but only stepped over to Colt’s side away from Ruth. Now another intruder entered the building. It was a woman, possibly the same age as the man. Some people were so close-minded, but he had grown used to it. He wanted to say he was a nudist whether they liked it or not, but decided to keep his mouth shut for now. He had no choice when the other three started bickering. He noticed a particular thing about the young woman – she was clearly stupid. He shook his head, knowing it was best to stay out, and away, from the two young adults.

Colt was just about to freak out when the door had opened. This place wasn’t all that great for hiding now, considering how too many people were in here. He noticed Feng’s reaction at the young man’s exclamation and proceeded to explain, being the gentle boy he was. “He’s a nudist, there’s really nothing wrong with that.” He knew most people wouldn’t believe that but he had to try. He found Feng right next to him within seconds, and blinked. Things were starting to get confusing in here. Who was the little girl in the bathroom with a bleeding head? Who was the young man who were so rude at Feng? Who was the obviously stupid blonde that seemed… Then he blinked at her. “Yuck! Gross! You pervert, they ain’t doing anything like that!” He realized at the end she was as a stupid as a buzzard. He only stole a glance at Feng, showing he was confused, before returning his attention to the intruders. “What are you two coming in here for anyway?”

Ruth gaped at Sunshine. "A-aunt Floe?" she blinked, puzzled. "Um, all my aunts have been ki - have gone to meet he Who Walks Behind the Rows. And aside from Auntie Beth, I didn't have any aunts." Unless she forgot one. Days like this she wished her brother was still around. He remembered things like who her relatives were. "I'm eight now, but she--left when I was five."

"We can go where we want," John snapped at the offending child. "But we're here to get-- never mind." He didn't want to have to explain the thin logic of Sunshine, and his own curiosity. "What are you doing here? And ewe, stop talking about your bleeding vages! That's disgusting."
