YouTube is chalk full of Children of the Corn videos. What be your favorite? This my favorite. It's an Isaac tribute:

I never really liked Isaac. xD To me he was more like my nephew, spoiled rotten and evil, =3.
I would have to admit I kind of liked the remake, but didn't like how they had made several drastic changes. I never actually understood what happened at the end. Then again, I haven't seen the entire collection yet.;

The remake is actually a cut-and-paste copy of the novel. So really, it's the 1984 version that made the drastic changes -- and I liked those changes. It added more depth to the villains (the power struggle between Malachai and Isaac is one of my favorite aspects of the series) and made the characters more likable. Because, and I know this is more realistic, the main characters in the remake had no redeeming qualities. And again, I know that some people like that gritty realism in their movies, but when I watch a movie I'm one of those n00bs who likes a fantasy and characters I can at least somewhat sympathize with. Isaac couldn't act --- I did however, like Malachai. Whoever played him did an excellent job.
The ending was essentially this: He Who Walks Behind the Rows really existed and he took care of Burt. But he was upset that he had to do it himself, so he was lowering the age of sacrifice from 19 to 18. So all the 18 year olds had to go into the cornfield. ^^
