Damon's eyes floated over to where Rebekah's finger was pointing. His eyes shimmered with excitement and he watched. "There's our baby! " He began to walk toward the end of the alley to keep an eye on them, but stayed far enough behind to not be noticed.
OOC: This happens hours later.
Damon came running back finding Esau. Once his eyes met his position he ran up to him. "Esau! Esau!" He ran up to him. "You have to take my child, it's the only way she'll be safe. I have to go back for Rebekah!" Without any further explanation or a chance for Esau to say no he left Noah there. He kissed her on the forehead before he left to go back. "Daddy will bring you're mommy back I promise." He said quickly and left without a trace.

After leaving the child at the police station, something hit Esau. He realized that the mission to keep the child safe had been completed. The rest was in God's hands. If Rebekah and Damon and the others were meant to be saved, they would be. With that thought he felt that he should leave. He had only tiny reason to go back, and this could very well be one of his few chances to leave safely.
So he did. He walked down the road. Past the various shops and homes. Once he got out onto the road with the cornfield surrounding him, he felt regretful. But he also felt that he should continue. With each step he took, words popped into his head. You're selfish. You're awful. What about Ruth?
"Gah!" Esau exclaimed these thoughts plagued his spirit. But then something stopped him. Not a figurative thing, but a physical thing. It was as if he had walked into a wall, but all he saw was the road ahead of him. He took a step back. With a puzzled look he pondered the next few steps. Then he tried again. The same occurrence, well, occurred. What was this? He stood there, unable to continue forward, thinking.
Then it came to him. This had to be a sign. He was needed. He had to help. At this point he turned on a dime and headed "home."
